Due to the ongoing restrictions on social gatherings, the Gustine Recreation Department is interested in hearing from you so that we can focus on what matters to the residents of Gustine and the surrounding communities. The City of Gustine is proud to have an active and diverse Parks and Recreation department. The Department offers a number of very popular community programs including:

  • YLead: Gustine’s most popular and well attended summer youth leadership program.

  • The Gustine Pool: Gustine owns and operates a municipal pool during each summer season. The pool includes free swim, lap swim, swim lessons and water aerobic classes.

  • Softball and Basketball Program: Gustine has fantastic recreation opportunities for those interested in Men’s Softball and Open Gym Basketball.

  • Youth Programs: The City of Gustine realizes the importance of recreational opportunities for the City's youth. 

  • Adult Programs: Yoga, Zumba and more - the City of Gustine organizes sessions for whatever your interest. 

  • Online Recreation Registration
  • Annual 5K Color Run: This exciting and colorful walk/run is held in conjunction with Gustine's 4th of July festivities.
  • Annual Trunk or Treat event: This widely popular event has quickly become more popular than traditional door-to-door trick or treating. This event happens on Halloween night on Main Street.
  • Christmas in the Park: Come enjoy free entertainment, hot cocoa and s'mores in Henry Miller Park.
  • Annual Kids Fishing Derby: This event is typically held in October. Kids ages 3-18 are welcome to cast their lines and enjoy a free lunch at the conclusion of the day.
