Annual Spring Clean Up
The City of Gustine provides annual refuse disposal to its residents. Typically held in two locations over two weekends, residents can drop off household refuse in one location and household hazardous materials at a second location.
HOUSEHOLD REFUSE DROP OFF:
Almost all household refuse accepted including, appliances and furniture.
NO electronic waste, including televisions, computer monitors or electronic devices. NO hazardous waste accepted.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DROP OFF:
NO TV or computer monitors.
NO electronic devices.
Maximum 20 gallons of used oil or 3 car batteries per household.
NO containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted.
Accepted chemicals include motor oil & filters, antifreeze, car batteries, household batteries (alkaline, nicad, lithium ion), aerosols, solvents, fluorescent light tubes, mercury thermostat and mercury thermometers.
NO businesses’ waste will be accepted.
NO farm or agricultural pesticides, herbicides or insecticides will be accepted.
Drop offs must be limited to 15 gallons of household waste or 125 pounds of solid household waste per visit.
You may make more than one drop off.
