When is a grading permit necessary?
A grading permit must be obtained by anyone constructing a commercial or industrial building, constructing a parking lot or construction of a residential subdivision.
What is the cost of the permit?
The cost of the permit is based on the size of the lot and the quantity of the dirt to be moved as well as the estimated cost of on-site construction.
How long is this permit valid?
This permit is good for a period of 6 months.
Who is responsible for obtaining a grading permit?
Applicant, developer or contractor is responsible for obtaining this permit.
